You guessed it…you’ve turned yet another month older. I’m a few days behind on writing you, but it was for good reason. We were making memories out of town 🙂

Let me think back at ALL that you have done since I last wrote…there is truly no way I could capture every single thing, because you are changing what seems like every minute!

The title of this is nineteen and no because “NO” has become one of your very favorite words. Whenever you are asked something, you promptly say “No”, or you shake your head for “yes.” It is hilarious most of the time. But sometimes we literally say “WHOA” after you tell us “no” because of just how firm you are with that reply. You’re definitely a girl that knows what you mean! 🙂

You are also saying new words like “trash”, “mine,” “me,” “Lola,” and my personal favorite, “baaaaaaaaaby baaaaaaaby baaaaaaaaaby.” You are really close at saying “Rainey” and we are practicing you saying your own name. You said my name this weekend…it was cute, but I quickly told you  my name was Momma 🙂 You literally mock every single thing we say nowadays. You’re most definitely a talker- can’t imagine where you got that trait 🙂

You’re my dancing queen. Girl, you’ve got some MOVES! The other night the song “Lean On” by Major Lazer and DJ Snake was on a commercial and you got with it. I had to rewind probably 20 times to let you dance. I got several good videos of you- can’t wait to show you one day! Maybe that video could be played at your high school graduation or wedding day? 😉

BITING. Yep, you got in trouble for the first time at school 2 weeks ago for biting. And no, not once,  but twice. Gigi broke the news to me when she picked you up from school. There is a little boy in your class that is about 10 months old. He’s a big boy, but not quite walking, so he’s definitely still a baby. You were apparently kissing him (we will talk about kissing boys in a more serious manner in the future 🙂 ) and you then decided to give him a little nibble, I guess. You definitely knew what you did was a no no and that you were in trouble. You had several “talking to’s” by multiple people. So far, no more biting has occurred. I’m proud of you baby girl.

Taking off your diaper- uh ya, so this little “trick” isn’t the best one ever. Only because you are by no means potty trained, and when the diaper is off, I get scared! HA!

Dressing yourself…seriously?? 19 months old and already insisting on putting your own pants on? That’d be you, my dear. Amanda has babysat you some while she’s been home from Italy and one day she said you would absolutely not let her dress you. You also picked out your own headband. You now go find my clothes and put them on, and the other day when I picked you up, you were wearing Gigi’s socks. Cracks me up!

Life can feel overwhelming when you're carrying the weight of shame, pain, and struggle. But there’s hope—and it starts with surrendering your story to God.

There was a time when I didn’t feel courageous at all. My life was filled with health battles, toxic relationships, and coping mechanisms that only left me feeling emptier. Every day felt heavy, and I believed I was too broken to be whole again. But then… BUT GOD.

God took my mess and turned it into a powerful message. If you’re in a place of struggle, I want you to know this: I understand, and I’m here for you.

The Courageous Woman Project is a faith-based journey designed to help you heal, grow, and strengthen your walk with God. This isn’t just another course—it’s a transformational experience written by God and facilitated by me to help you step into the courageous woman He created you to be.

You are not alone, and your story isn’t over. Join the Courageous Woman Project and let God transform your life.
